The Illusion of Death – What We Were Not Told About Death

Life and Death

The quotations in this text are taken from the book
Talking with God – Volume II by Alberto Bacoi.

“I have never created death, an ending. What you have called death does not exist — there is only a new beginning.
I have created a new beginning every time you needed one, yet you have called your beginning death.”

So, how do you feel after reading this statement?

It may seem difficult to accept, considering that for thousands of years we have been given false information. It becomes even harder to understand when, in life, you have been separated from those you love — parents, siblings, grandparents.

Perhaps the fear of the unknown is the chain that keeps us anchored to life on Earth. And yet, this very unknown that we fear so deeply may, in the depths of our being, be the most familiar thing of all.

Attachment to illusion is sometimes so strong that we can no longer see anything of value beyond what appears to exist here.

I see life as the most beautiful gift given by God — the opportunity for my soul to experience its existence in a physical body on Earth.

And for me, death is another form of awakening to life.
It represents union with God, the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another. In truth, what we call “death” should be named a transition into Being, not into non-being.

The belief that God could condemn us through death or punish us — us, “the most complete and impressive being created by Him” — reveals, in my eyes, the falseness of certain ideas promoted by the world’s religions and their institutions.
One of these ideas is the belief that after death we would go to hell or to heaven.

Hell and heaven do not exist as real places, but as dark states of mind that have created stories meant to subjugate humanity.
But this… is another story.

“The inability to connect with Me, to hear My voice and to recognize My help, is a very advanced form of autism — a condition suffered by more than 97% of the planet’s inhabitants.
It is as if you had a communication device that you have never used to call anyone, and to which you have never responded. Not hearing the voice of your soul is a disability.”

This form of autism distances us from our origin, from our Creator, and naturally creates the fear of living — as well as the fear of dying.

“Those who claim that God does not exist should understand that life cannot arise from non-life.
Death is not the opposite of life, nor is it its absence. Death does not mean that life no longer exists, but that life in the body, as you know it, no longer exists.
There are people among you who are dead even as they walk on their own feet to their jobs. In such cases, it would be wiser to choose life, rather than spend an entire lifetime running against it.”

The fact that we were told, from birth, that we are “bad” and that we were born sinful has planted in the human subconscious the fear of death, the fear of living, and all the other fears which — as you know — seem to have no end.

In a world where death has been presented as something dark, as a punishment, pain, anger, and bloodshed were born over time.
The fear of death deprived us of the freedom to live. We began to see everything and everyone as enemies: life, nature, other people — even ourselves.
And so, the true enemy was born from our own fear of having one.

This fear has distanced us from who we truly are.

Perhaps death is not what we were made to believe

Have you ever thought that perhaps… death is not as “dead” as we were told?
That maybe it is not the end, but actually the beginning?
Perhaps true resurrection happens after death — through the death of what we believe life to be.

Perhaps here, on Earth, we are not living life, but a subtle form of death.
A death of essence, of spirit, of inner freedom.
Why? Because we live through attachments, through fears, through desires that subjugate us.

Attachment kills freedom and binds you to fear, not to love.

Obsession kills joy and steals your present, moment by moment.

Jealousy kills trust and destroys the most beautiful moments shared with the one you love.

Envy kills gratitude and casts a shadow over your own worth.

Competition kills authenticity and turns you into a copy of others, not a version of yourself.

”Pride does not lift you up; it brings you down.

Greed is not fulfillment.

Accumulation of wealth is not a purpose.

Man is not the body, and the body does not define man.
God is not an idol.

Idolatry is not worship.

Waste is not sacrifice.

Abstinence is not holiness.
Dependence on worldly rituals is not salvation.
The failure to recognize one’s own worth is not faith.

Influence is not guidance.

Fear is not love.
The Church does not always speak the truth.

Religion is not spirituality.”

The Biblical Snake and the Devil

The fear of death was planted in the human subconscious from the very beginning, while still in the body, through ideas such as:
– that a serpent has the power to decide the fate of humanity in the Universe,
or
– that God is engaged in a battle with the devil, imagined by the Church, for the human soul.

The serpent of the Bible is not a malevolent entity, but a symbol of human thinking that is not aligned with the heart — the mind that separates itself from God and from original love.
It is the voice of the false self, which distorts truth and gives rise to fear, shame, and the illusion of separation.

The devil is the definition of our unconscious reactions, which we come into conflict with the moment we recognize our essence.

The devil is the mind corrupted by fear, shame, and the desire for control.
It is that SELF which tells us that we are not enough, that we are unworthy of love, that we are separated from God.

The devil is not an external being, not an entity lurking in a hidden realm.
It is, in fact, a projection of the distorted mind — that part of us which has separated from truth, light, and love.

How can we let go of the hand of those we love?

By becoming aware that you can love a person even after they choose to die or to leave you.

“Love is limitless; it cannot be contained by a form, nor does it exist only in one place or in favorable circumstances.
Love is alive — it can guide you on your most distant journeys and, at the same time, keep watch beside the one who awaits your return.
Love is giving — it offers you the strength to let go of the hand of the one you love, if they ask you to do so.
Love is life — it creates the fragrance of flowers, and they become your very thoughts, wrapped in the scent of rain-soaked fields breathing after the storm.”

“In the face of the death of body and mind, the soul knows it will be freed.
Departure is liberation. Death is the miraculous experience through which the being reunites with itself.
The most magnificent experience lived by any threefold being is the one in which it dies, releases body and mind, and becomes one with itself.
Yet the mind resists this process. It cannot conceive of existence outside the body, nor accept that the human being is composed of three parts.”

So, remove the fear of death and open your mind and soul to a new perspective.
You may be surprised!
